Am I required to make my property available to Section 8?
Property owners are not required to accept Section 8 tenants unless local laws mandate it. We recommend checking applicable regulations in your area. -
Are you licensed?
Yes, we are licensed Realtors, hold a broker’s license in the state of Ohio and are a licensed property management company, ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations. -
Can I reach you after hours?
Yes, we provide an emergency contact for urgent issues. General inquiries are handled during normal business hours. -
Can you put the money directly into my account?
Yes, we offer direct deposit for owner disbursements, providing a smooth and timely transfer of rental income. -
Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
Owners can review the lease agreement before it is signed. As your property manager, we handle the lease signing on your behalf unless you prefer otherwise. -
Do you sell real estate too?
Foresight Property Management is owned and managed by an Ohio licensed real estate broker. We offer real estate sales services. If you are interested in buying or selling, we can discuss available options. -
How and when do I get my checks?
Owner disbursements are made on a regular schedule—typically via direct deposit or check—after rent is collected and any applicable expenses are deducted. -
How is rent collection handled?
We offer multiple rent payment options, including online and traditional methods, for tenant convenience. Late payments are addressed according to lease terms and applicable laws. -
How long of a lease do you sign?
Lease terms vary based on market conditions and owner preferences, but standard leases typically run for 12 months. Other lease term options may be available upon request. -
How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?
Foresight Property Management charges one full month of rent as a security deposit to well qualified and approved applicants. Additional security deposit amounts must pay interest to the tenant annually. Foresight Property Management offers alternatives to tenants who may not be fully approved, but would still be a good fit for your property. -
How soon can you start managing my property?
We can begin managing your property as soon as all necessary agreements are completed and the home is ready for leasing. -
What type of properties do you manage?
We manage a range of property types, including single-family homes, multi-family units and condos. -
What type of reports do I get and how often?
Owners receive both monthly and yearly financial statements detailing rent collection, expenses, and maintenance updates. Additional custom reports are available upon request. -
Who holds the tenant security deposit?
Security deposits are held in a dedicated trust account owned by Foresight Property Management in compliance with local and state regulations. The handling process may vary slightly depending on jurisdiction and company policy.
